Carl Rayner 

Carl is one of our employed Senior Facilitators and is also an Executive Coach with over 25 years’ experience in Learning and Development across the UK and Europe. He works with leaders, teams, and organisations to improve performance, strengthen leadership capability, and deliver sustainable results. Having held senior roles as a European Head of Development and Talent within blue-chip organisations, he brings strong commercial insight and hands-on experience of transformational change. His work combines business coaching, psychology, and performance principles to help individuals and organisations realise their potential.

Angela Armstrong is a qualified and accredited Executive and Team coach and Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming

Angela Armstrong

Angela has over 20 years experience in senior HR roles within blue chip organisations and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. She is a qualified and accredited Executive and Team coach and Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Angela combines experience of leading organisational performance improvement, with the ability to design and deliver tailored development solutions. Working at organisation, team or individual level she has worked with senior, middle and first line managers to support sustained behavioural change: with a focus on performance improvement outcomes. Her main areas of focus are leadership and management development, personal impact, talent development, building high performance team- working and the leadership of change.

Meg Burton

Meg Burton has worked with teams and individuals in partnership to help grow and develop skills and improve business performance and results

Meg has over 12 years’ experience in learning and development in a blue chip organisation with a further 5 years in consultancy working with a variety of corporate and third sector clients.

She has worked with teams and individuals in partnership to help grow and develop skills and improve business performance and results. She has experience in delivering a variety of Management Development training for all levels of employees. She is an experienced coach, supporting Senior Leaders in their management roles and also as a Career Coach helping individuals with their career development and personal aspirations.

Above all, she is a supportive, enthusiastic character who has a real passion for learning and development and a desire to make a difference to individuals.

Jo Houchin

Jo Houchin is a Learning and Development professional with over 20 years’ experience in developing people, teams and organisations

Jo is a Learning and Development professional with over 20 years’ experience in developing people, teams and organisations. Having extensive experience across a variety of sectors, Jo has built a depth of understanding of different cultures and the organisational challenges faced by them. Her passion is helping people become more aware of how they can help themselves and providing them with the tools and motivation to achieve real performance improvements.  

Jo is a Level 7 qualified coach with a Post Graduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology. This gives her a diverse and pragmatic tool kit to suit a broad range of coaching needs and preferences. Her approach is both reflective and challenging, drawing on her psychological training to identify unhelpful patterns of behaviour, and unravel barriers to personal and organisational change.

Underpinning all of this, is Jo’s belief that learning should never be dull!  Fun, curiosity and engagement are essential ingredients for a successful outcome.

Judith Evans

With 24 years in operational law enforcement at a senior level, Judith Evans brings experience in leading and delivering results within dynamic, high-pressure and complex environments

With 24 years in operational law enforcement at a senior level, Judith brings experience in leading and delivering results within dynamic, high-pressure and complex environments. She has a strong track record of influencing senior civil servants and key stakeholders on policy, translating strategic intent into
effective operational outcomes. In this time Judith was also seconded to set up and launch a new regional training team for the Border Agency. Judith uses this experience to support the development of individual leaders and the creation of high performing teams through impactful learning experiences such as immersive activities, action learning and coaching.
From her own experience, Judith believes that the most valuable
developmental experiences combine engaging and relatable activities with challenge, support and some fun along the way!

Jo Shuttlewood

Jo Shuttlewood is a facilitator, executive coach and coach mentor to many learners. She believes people grow best when they feel both supported and stretched.

Jo is a facilitator, executive coach and coach mentor to many learners. She believes people grow best when they feel both supported and stretched. Her work is all about helping individuals and teams think boldly, see clearly, and take meaningful steps forward—whether that’s unlocking confidence, navigating complex challenges, or making breakthrough shifts in how they work together.

Drawing on almost three decades of experience and a strong foundation in psychological practice, she uses a non‑directive, thought‑provoking approach. Through deep listening, insightful questioning, and constructive challenge, she creates the conditions for genuine insight and sustainable behavioural change.

Ethics, integrity, and reflective practice sit at the heart of her work. Learners describe her style as calm, encouraging and uplifting, yet purposeful and focused. She brings warmth, clarity, and a sense of partnership to every workshop and coaching session, helping people gain confidence, take ownership, and move towards their goals with fresh energy.

Above all, she's passionate about seeing people flourish—feeling more capable, more resilient, and more connected to the best version of themselves.

Kelen Beauchamp

Kelen Beauchamp is an experienced leadership and management development facilitator and designer, coach, and mentor

Kelen is an experienced leadership and management development facilitator and designer, coach, and mentor. She combines her own senior leadership experience with her people development expertise to bring both a strategic and a pragmatic, operational perspective to her work. Kelen specialises in the design and delivery of a range of workshops, both face-to-face and online, bringing her extensive experience across a range of subject areas, from sales management to leadership development and across several public and private sector organisations.

Kelen is also an EMCC-accredited executive and career coach.   

Whether in a group or on a one-to-one basis, Kelen is passionate about providing the environment for others to have fun, create change and action, increase confidence, and have a safe space for reflection, collaboration, and connection.

With an ability to build excellent relationships at all levels and strong commercial awareness, Kelen is warm and friendly with a relaxed yet confident facilitation style.

Simon Thomas

Simon Thomas who has been deeply involved with developing talent through coaching, mentoring, recruitment and delivering leadership skills programmes.

Simon’s passion for Learning & Development comes from the satisfaction of making a difference. Helping people to be at their best in work (and life) fuels his quest to facilitate the most game-changing learning interventions possible.

His early career spans 16 years as a senior leader within Asda/Wal-Mart, progressing through a broad range of senior operational, strategic and commercial positions. Throughout his career, Simon has always been deeply involved with developing talent through coaching, mentoring, recruitment and delivering leadership skills programmes. As you might expect from his background, Simon is supremely customer-focused and since 2014, has been going the extra mile to deliver memorable learning experiences. His personal learning journey has earned him a CIPD Level 7 accreditation in Learning & Development, Certificates in Stress Management, NLP and Coaching (CMI Level7), accredited practitioner for both the Lumina Spark psychometric model and the Heartstyles Life Indicator - plus he’s a qualified Hypnotherapist and Mental Health First Aider.  

You'll often find him walking and cycling in the Yorkshire Dales. Simon has recently become an author, writing a historical fiction ‘The Harbour Master’s Secret’ inspired by the war-time adventures of his friend. Simon also loves spending time with his family, eating out, and walking his dog ‘Poppy’.
