business simulations

In all our programmes, we always relate the practical exercises we run back to the workplace. This helps to anchor the learning and ensures that the participants understand its relevance to their day-to-day work. Sometimes we find that the most effective way of doing this is to run a business simulation exercise.

Our business simulations are as active – and fun! – as all our other exercises. There is no sitting at a computer inputting data – the facilitator does that! Instead, participants often have to develop a business from scratch, making strategic decisions against the clock! As they work, such skills as leadership, conflict management and influencing can be actively explored. Simulations are often a great way of drawing together learning from a modular management development programme and enabling people to apply skills gained in a virtual environment before the real world.
